Step 2. Add Information for Each Section:

  • Suppliers (S): Identify who provides the inputs for the process. You can add names, departments, or external organizations as needed.
  • Inputs (I): List the resources or materials needed to begin the process.
  • Process (P): Break down the core steps of the process itself. This section is formatted as a chain, so you can click the blue circle to add steps in sequence.
  • Outputs (O): Define the final products or deliverables produced by the process.
  • Customers (C): Identify who receives the outputs, including internal stakeholders or end-users.

Step 3. Map the Process Chain:
Click the blue circle next to the initial process step to add the next step. Repeat until all steps are captured, which will create a visual chain from start to finish.

Step 4. Customize and Collaborate:
Use sticky notes, text boxes, or upload additional documents and images to add context. Invite team members to collaborate, review, and add their input directly on the FigJam board.

Step 5. Share and Review:
Once completed, you can share the SIPOC diagram with others for feedback and adjustments. This visual tool can then serve as a reference to align everyone on the process scope and objectives.
